The death has occurred of Kitty Murray (née Lucey) Ave Maria Park, Moate, Westmeath / Carrigadrohid, Cork
Kitty Murray (née Lucey); Ave Maria Park, Moate, Co Westmeath and late of Knockavullig, Carrigadrohid Co. Cork. November 25th 2025. Peacefully, at Retreat Nursing Home, Athlone surrounded by her family, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Mary and Dinny, sister Mary and brothers Con and Frankie.
Fondly remembered always by her children, Pat, Denis, Marie (McDonnell), John and Emily (Fallon), grandchildren Dervla, Gavin, Aoife, Emma, John, Katie, Jack, Billy, Mollie, Niamh, Ronan, Daragh, Ruaidhrí, Tadgh, Sadhbh, great-grandchildren Lucy and Jodie Stone, Katie's partner Alan Stone, daughters-in-law Maura, Norma, and Miriam, sons-in-law Michael and Willie, sisters Gobnait Coughlan and Josie Gallagher, sisters-in-law Nancy Maguire and Mary Tansey, brother-in-law Joe Murray, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Flynns Funeral Home Moate this Thursday(27th) from 5pm. Removal at 7.40pm to the Carmelite Church, Moate arriving at 8pm for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass on Friday (28th) at 2 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Kilcurley Cemetery, Tubber.
