Under 21
Well done to the Under 21 hurlers, who recorded an impressive 2-21 to 1-8 victory over Lorrha Rovers last Sunday in Puckane in the North ‘B’ Quarter-Final.
Kiladangan made a strong start, with a long-range Noel Gleeson free dropping into the Lorrha Rovers net on the fourth minute. They led 1-10 to 0-3 at half-time, with Gleeson prominent from placed balls.
Jos Slattery struck Kiladangan’s second goal midway through the second half after excellent build-up play from Chullain McGrath, pushing the lead to 2-16 to 0-6. Lorrha responded quickly with a goal of their own, but Kiladangan remained in control and secured a comfortable win.
The lads will take on Burgess this Saturday, the 29th, at 2.00 pm in Kilcolman in the North Semi Final. Please come out and support them!
