Happy New Yerar to all.

Our TOGGIN OUT fitness group is back training from 8 pm Tuesday next, we already have a dedicated group of men and women who train every Tuesday, Thursday at O'Garney Park and there is social hurling then on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings usually in the Arena. A great way to keep fit while socailising with people from the village and parish. Everyone is welcome and any of the fitness items can be done at your own pace but with the benefit of a group dynamic which a lot of people find helps to drive them on.

Brian O' Neill has been the main driving force behind the Toggin Out group over the last few years. Brian recently mentioned to SixmilebridgeGaa.com that 'the Toggin Out Group has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years with many regulars at this stage but also plenty who dip in and out as lifetsyle suits, which is fine too, we hope to provide an outlet for all of those in the 30+ bracket who are looking to keep up or take up some healthy habits'

Syl O'Conor the Club chairman said 'I have been amazed at the take up of this inititive over the last few years and especially the social hurling side of things whcih has brought many new faces into our club community and I am proud to say that we priovide an outlet to help people keep healthy, Well done to Brian and his crew for keeping this very important initiative going over the last numebr of years, I think we are all learning now that fitness is for life not just during your sporting career or younger years. I might even make an appearance myself in the coming weeks!'
