By way of update, work is advancing rapidly on the upgrade works being carried out in Strandhill Community Park.
Our lights contractor, Electric Skyline have been on-site since last week and will complete the remainder of the work upgrading the astro and grass pitch floodlights this Friday weather permitting.
The playground is back open currently but will be closed again in the coming days as PST, the contractor for the Astro replacement begin their preparations which commence more visibly from approx 8am on Saturday next 17 January.
Sections of the car park / walkway and area in front and to the side of the clubhouse will be closed off, but access to the clubhouse will remain.
We'd ask that anyone using the park, parents bringing their kids to training etc. to please use the caravan park road side of the park for parking and access during these works.
We regret any inconvenience that this will cause but are confident that the improvements being made will more than make up for these temporary disruptions.
