Harty Cup

Well done to the Nenagh C.B.S. team on a thrilling victory over Thurles C.B.S. in today’s Dr. Harty Cup semi-final in Templederry. A fantastic performance from start to finish and a result to be proud of. Special congratulations to our club players — Dara O'Dwyer, Diarmuid Fogarty, Tom Boland, Rian McGrath and Eoin Kelly — who represented themselves, their school and their club with great skill and determination. Best of luck in the final!

Scór na bPáistí

Anyone interested in taking part in the Scór na bPáistí please confirm your entry by contacting either: Mary Byrne (085-2605946) or Maggie Grey (087-9195993) by Friday 23rd January. The following are the categories: Set Dancing, Figure Dancing, Recitation/Story Telling, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Instrumental Music Group, Novelty Act, Question Time. The Parish final will be on in Ballycommon Hall, Saturday February 28th at 7p.m. Acts that qualify from this will go on to represent Kiladangan at an area final on Sunday 8th March.

Lotto
There was no winner of the Monday 12th January Lotto jackpot of €19,900. Jackpot numbers were 7,16,27,33. There was no winner of the Second Chance €500 draw with the numbers 7,13,33,35.

Medal Presentation

Kiladangan GAA & Camogie Clubs will hold a Medal Presentation this coming Friday 23rd January commencing at 8.00 pm in The Thatched Cottage.

Presentation of medals to the following teams who had success in 2025 will take place:

Minor B North Football Champions 

Minor Division 2 County Hurling League Champions 

Junior C Camogie County Shield Champions 

Junior A North Hurling Champions 

Senior A North Hurling Champions 

All welcome to attend with light refreshments served.

 
Camogie

Well done to Olivia Hogan who was involved as a coach with the Ursuline Thurles team that claimed the Munster Senior A Schools Camogie title last Saturday, adding to their Junior A Munster win the previous weekend. Well done Olivia!

Hard luck to Isabelle Kingston, Siobhan Quinn (selector) and all involved with the Tipperary minor camogie team who lost to Limerick in their Munster semi-final on Sunday. They will now play Clare in the Shield Final next Sunday, the 25th of January in Fethard Town Park.

Tipperary GAA is currently running a recruitment drive for referees. If you are interested in becoming a referee, please contact any member of the Kiladangan GAA committee
