It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Liam Cleere of Bennettsbridge.
Although from Bennettsbridge, Liam played with Dicksboro and wore our colours when he won a Minor title with the club in 1952.
He went on to be part of the great Bennettsbridge teams of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, and played with the Kilkenny senior panel in 1957.
On behalf of everyone in Dicksboro, we extend our sincere sympathies to Liam’s family, friends, and all in Bennettsbridge GAA Club at this sad time.
