A massive congratulations to Oranmore Maree’s Eanna Costello on his selection as the Galway GAA U19A Footballer of the Year for 2025.
The Club are delighted for Eanna and his family and his award tops off a brilliant year for our U19s.
It is a much deserved award for Eanna in recognition of his excellent footballing abilities, both as a playmaker and as a scoring forward.
Eanna's game intelligence and decision making were in full view in both the U19A West Board Final V Carraroe and in the U19A County Final V Claregalway.
In an excellent season for Eanna, he was also part of the club's U20A Hurling squad that captured the Galway U20A Championship in 2025.
Eanna received his award in a cermony at the Galmont Hotel on Saturday 21st February 2026 from the Galway County Board.
A super achievement by Eanna and congrats again on a well deserved award!
