AstroTurf & Ball Wall – Phase 1 Milestone Update ✅
Over the past number of months we’ve shared progress photos as works continued on our new AstroTurf & Ball Wall facility. As the latest images show, this element of the project is now complete and ready for use.
This marks a significant milestone within Phase 1 of our Pathway to 2030 development programme.
A sincere thank you to all involved in delivering this facility for Clarinbridge GAA and Camogie Club:
Karol Curran Plant Hire, main contractor, for their professionalism and the high standard of delivery throughout.
SIS Pitches, subcontractor to Karol Curran, who installed the top-class 3G playing surface.
The €150,000 grant support provided under the Community Sport Facilities Fund (formerly the Sports Capital & Equipment Programme), administered by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. This contribution was instrumental in enabling the development to proceed.
We also wish to thank Noel Grealish TD for his continued support and engagement in helping advance this project.
Most importantly, the contributors to Pathway to 2030. Without this additional community-led funding, this facility — and the wider upgrade works delivered to date — would not have been possible.
This is a major step forward for the club, and we look forward to sharing further updates as Phase 1 continues to progress.
