Championship Medals Presented

An appropriately decorated clubhouse was the venue for the presentation of the WestmeathLadies Gaa County Under-14 League and Championship medals and the Under-16 County medals, on Saturday night.  Several of the girls were collecting three  medals. Well done to all and thanks to the management teams of both squads. Success doesn't come easily and the victories were the result of a lot of hard work and patient work by players and coaches.

Thanks to the LGF Committee for the great work of organising and to Anna Jones, our county star player, for presenting the medals. Martin and Emily Coyne deserve a special commendation for their work on the night - the decorations were the work of Martin and Emily prepared the food which was enjoyed by all.

Carole  Finch and Matt Ledwith introduced the players on the night and it was great to see some of the most distinguished LGF players  in the history of Mullingar Shamrocks present - a great tribute to the young players and stars of the future.
