At the pitch, great efforts have been made to improve our grounds and promote biodiversity within our club.

Recently, we planted native hedging including whitethorn, spindle, buckthorn, hazel, holly and guelder rose 🌱 Along with the large pollinator bed at the entrance, two mini fruit orchards in the walkway corners, and now new planting behind the astro, this has truly been a collaborative community project.

The Kinvara Green Team and Club would like to sincerely thank everyone involved in making this happen.

Huge appreciation to Kinvara Tidy Towns for their help, guidance and experience throughout the process.

Thanks also to Reforest Nation and Kinvara Ballindereen Tree Gang for their advice and for providing saplings.

We are very grateful to Galway County Council Climate Action for their guidance and funding to improve our green practices.

A special thank you to Felim Mac Eoin for providing fertiliser.

And finally, thank you to all who helped with the planting – club members, juvenile players and the wonderful team from The Dolmen Centre.

Everyone who gave their time and energy is very much appreciated 💜💛

Together, we’re building a greener future for our club and community 🌍🌿
