The Mini Sevens Hurling Competition featured three intense matches. In the opening game, St. Finnachta’s NS team faced Kilmaley National School in a hard-fought, tough battle. The boys displayed fantastic teamwork and determination, ultimately coming out on top. In the second match, they took on Crusheen National School. Once again, they showed immense resilience and grit, battling hard and securing another victory. The final was against Ballyea, and despite poor weather, soft pitch and tough conditions, the entire panel stood tall. Everyone contributed, making a huge impact, and their never-give-up attitude led them to a memorable triumph. The team captain, Jack Downes, led the team with pride and delivered a concise speech thanking all involved. Special thanks as well to teachers Mr. Lynch, Mr. Minogue, Mr. Hogan and Mr. Heagney for their support and dedication. Congratulations to the all the players and their teachers.
