Wicklow Rovers U11 Yellows produced a fantastic team performance this morning on the Hockey Pitch, securing a well-earned victory over a competitive Aughrim Rangers side.

The standout feature of the game was the quality of football on display from the Rovers. The team showed great composure by playing out from the back, with the goalkeepers and defenders working together to transition into attack. By keeping the ball on the ground and moving it quickly, the lads created numerous scoring opportunities, resulting in several brilliantly worked goals.

Equally impressive was the defensive discipline shown throughout the squad. A massive well done goes to the defenders and keepers, whose hard work and concentration were rewarded with a thoroughly deserved clean sheet.

We would like to thank Aughrim Rangers for a very sporting game and wish them the best of luck with their upcoming fixtures.

A special word of thanks also goes to the referee, Niall O'Connor. His encouraging words to the children and his ability to let the game flow ensured a positive and enjoyable experience for all the young players involved.

Well done to the entire squad—the attitude and team spirit shown today were second to none!
