Junior A League
Silvermines North Tipperary Junior 'A' league game against Moneygall which was scheduled to be played in Dolla on Saturday last was called off due to the inclement weather. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.
Junior B2 League
Silvermines drew 1-14 to 0-17 with Nenagh Eire Og in what proved a close-fought North Junior B2 league game in Dolla on Sunday. The 'Mines trailed by 0-14 to 0-6 at the break in agame which was impacted by a strong breeze with the first half points coming from David Boland (2), Daniel Ryan (2), Sean Quinlan (free) and Ronan Clifford. Silvermines mounted a strong second-half comeback with a 35th minute Ronan Clifford goal narrowing the deficit to four points. A brace of Sean Quinlan points from placed balls narrowed the deficit further before Danny Keogh restored parity with a 52nd minute point. Sean Quinlan converted a well-struck free to edge the 'Mines in front in the 57th minute but Nenagh Eire Og fought back to level proceedings and take a share of the spoils.
County SHL
SIlvermines face Golden-Kilfeacle in Golden in Round 3 of the county league next Sunday. Throw-in is at 12 noon.
U-12 Football
Our U12 D footballers are down to play Portroe in Dolla on Monday evening next. Throw-in is at 7.15 pm.

Camogie Juvenile
An U-10 camogie blitz will take place in Newport at 10 am on Saturday morning while our U12 side will play Drom&Inch in Dolla at 6.45 pm on Wednesday.
