O'Garney Park was the venue this evening as out U15 Hurlers faced St Josephs Doora Barefield in the quarter final of the Clare Feile Championship. The 'Bridge raced into a 0-05 lead in the first half playing against the breeze before the visitors scored a goal to reduce the margin but the Bridge replied with a goal also to leave the half time score 1-07 to 1-02.
Both defenses were on top in the second half as with scores hard to come by before a few late scored saw the Bridge win out on a score of 1-11 to 1-06.
Next up is a semi final against Kilmaley this Thursday at 6:30pm in Kilmaley after they defeated Ballyea tonight by 1 point.
The second semi final sees Newmarket face Corofin/Ruan.
