St. Ita's will run a dedicated first-aid training sessions on 30th May (Saturday) 2026 from 1pm-5pm, aimed at making sure players, supporters and other coaches have access to immediate first aid. It will be run in Donabate Portrane Community Centre in the old library space.

The training, supported funded by the club's 2026 Welfare Sponsor, Progressive Credit Union, will focus particularly on CPR and the use of defibrillators, though also cover the treatment of a range of soccer-relevant injuries, such as fractures and concussion. and will be provided by a first-aid specialist.

The training is open to players, coaches and other volunteers in the club.

Places will cost participants €30, with the club contributing the other €30 to meet the cost of the programme. There is a limit on the number of participants, so please book early.

The club maintains two defibrillators, one in Ballymastone (by the shop, inside the container) and the other in the hospital grounds.
