St Finnachtas Primary School
The Bridge school have played 2 and won 2 in the Cumann na mBunscoil Division 1 Championship. Wins over Killaloe and Clonlara with games to come against Cratloe and Tulla.

Ard Scoil Ris
Ard scoil Ris played Rice cup 1/4 last Wednesday in Bansha against Middleton . They were beat in extra time 2:14 to 2:15 . Alex Russell (full forward) & Donnacha Heffernan were part of the team.
In the Limerick first year schools they played Castletroy College last week and won well. They are playing Hospital in the final next week.

St Flannans College
In the first year Clare Schools hurling championship Matthew Murphy is on the L-Z team who had wins over St. Annes Killaloe and Scariff in the early rounds. They play Rice college in round 3 this week.
The A-K first year team had an opening round win over Ennistymon and play Tulla and St Caimins in their remaining group games.

Tulla
Lorcan Benoit and Ewan Morey are part of the Tulla 1st year team who lost out to Ennistymon in round one. They beat St. Caimins in round 2 and face St Flannans (A-K) in their remaining group games.

St. Caimins
In a high scoring game against Tulla with 12 goals scored the Shannon side lost out by a few points. JJ Quigley, Matty Maxwell and Dylan O'Halloran and are part of the Caimins team.

St Patricks Comprehensive Shannon
The Comp U16 hurlers had a great day out in Caherlohan for the Clare GAA blitz. They played two games winning one and played very well in both. Cian O'Doherty, Ryan Griffin and Kevin Howe were part of the team. Well done lads!


Shannon Schools First Year Competition
The 1st years in st Caimins and St Patricks Comprehensive  have been really enjoying the Annual Shannon Schools 1st Year Competition over the last number of weeks and are looking forward to the grand final! 
The success of the tournament is a real testament to their coaches and clubs and we look forward to cheering them on one more time! If you can make it, then please support them. 
The competitionn involves 4 teams - Carrigerry, Portdrine, Tullyglass and Cappagh
