It was with great sadness and shock that we learned of the passing of Terence Kilpatrick yesterday evening. On behalf of everyone at Naomh Bríd, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the Kilpatrick family, friends and wider circle at this very difficult time.
For everyone who knew Terry, he was a true gentleman and a massive servant to Naomh Bríd throughout the years. Whether it was as a player, manager, referee, linesman, car park steward, umpire or helping out in any way he could, there wasn’t much Terry didn’t do for the club. His dedication, commitment and love for Naomh Bríd never went unnoticed.
Terry was always a familiar face around the grounds and someone who always greeted people with a smile. He gave so much of his time to the club and community, and his presence will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A guard of honour will take place this evening, and we ask anyone available to meet at the chapel gates at 6:30pm. A second guard of honour will also take place tomorrow as Terry’s remains leave the chapel for burial. We encourage all club members, players and supporters to make every effort to attend and pay their respects to a man who gave so much to Naomh Bríd over the years.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
May Terry rest in peace 🙏
