AFL Division 10:  Longwood 4-15 Duleek Bellewstown 1-2

Longwood's second team maintained the winning habit with a comprehensive victory over Duleek Bellewstown on Thursday evening.

Despite fielding only fourteen players, Longwood never trailed in the game.  They dominated the opening half and, with the direct running of Ciaran Sheridan
and Gavin Griffith causing all sorts of problems, led by six points at the break.  Admittedly they were helped by some wayward finishing from their visitors who also
lost a player to a red card just before the interval.

Longwood kept the revs up in the second half and goals from Gavin Griffith (2), Ciaran Sheridan and Conor M Dixon put a gloss on the final score.

Credit to the players for a job well done, special mention to Coyle O'Brien, Cian O'Sullivan and Liam Foran who stood out on the night.

Longwood: Sam Dixon, Coyle O'Brien, Cian O'Sullivan (0-1), Jason Kerrigan, Adrian Maguire (0-1), Sean Carpenter, Sam King, Ciaran Sheridan (1-5), David Coloe, Louis Butler, Conor M Dixon (1-2), Gavin Griffith (2-3), Liam Foran (0-1), Anthony Healy (0-2)
