*U11 Camogie Update*

The U11 girls have enjoyed a hugely positive and busy few weeks, continuing to make great progress both in training and in matches.
The group first took on Cratloe on Tuesday, April 28th, where two teams represented the club superbly in what were two excellent games. The girls displayed great teamwork, determination and skill throughout both matches, setting the tone for an exciting run of fixtures.

Round 3 of the U11 league followed on Saturday evening, May 3rd, with games against Kilkishen and Cratloe. Once again, the standard of hurling and effort from the squad was outstanding, with every player contributing strongly across the evening.
On Thursday, May 5th, the girls travelled to Clarecastle for a very physical encounter. The team responded brilliantly to the challenge, showing excellent toughness, resilience and work rate from start to finish in a highly competitive game.
The latest outing came on Sunday, May 10th, when we welcomed Oranmore. It was fantastic to host the Galway club and a very enjoyable occasion for all involved. We are already looking forward to the return challenge in the coming weeks.
Another major positive has been the opportunities several girls have received at U13 level over the past number of weeks. All of the players involved have performed exceptionally well, and sincere thanks must go to the U13 management team for providing such valuable development opportunities.
To date, the group has completed 16 training sessions and played 6 matches this year, with plenty more ahead. Overall, it has been a superb few weeks, with the girls’ skills, attitude and work rate continuing to be second to none.
