Deireadh seachtaine iontach a bhí ann le ceol, amhránaíocht agus rince den scoth.
What a weekend for O' Dwyers. While the u15 girls won Camogie Féile, the club were also winning off the pitch at Fleadh Cheoil Átha Cliath. Our adult céilí dancers are Dublin champions and set dancers were runners up. Both will progress to Leinster. Well done to all our dancers for all your hard work.
We also had young musicians representing the club proudly this year for the first time with not one but two céili bands taking to the stage. This is a fantastic achievement and many thanks to Mairéad for all of her time and work in making this happen. Thanks also to musicians from Kinsealy CCE and Portmarnock CCE who joined us.
We have two young members who represented O Dwyers who came 3rd in the solo competitions. Tadhg on the bodhrán and Conall in singing. Congratulations and best of luck to Tadhg in Leinster.
Congratulations also to Maya who will progress to Leinster representing Craobh Seán Treacy and to all Balbriggan musicians, singers and dancers who took part over the weekend.
Comhghairdeas gach duine.
