The adventure began on Saturday. After a narrow loss to Salthill, the girls bounced back brilliantly with wins over An Cheathrú Rua and Oileáin Árann to top their group and book their place in Sunday’s semi-finals.
Sunday brought more magic with a superb 2-5 to 0-4 win over St James’ set up a final against an unbeaten Dunmore McHales side. In the Salthill rain, the girls dug deep and delivered, winning 1-4 to 0-1 in a display of pure skill and determination.
