As the 2025/2026 rugby season draws to a close, Killarney RFC is proud to look back on a fantastic year of development and achievement for our U18.5 Girls squad.
The squad showed tremendous dedication, grit, and sportsmanship on the pitch all year, representing the club with pride across every fixture. To mark the conclusion of the season, the coaching staff presented the annual player awards to recognize outstanding individual contributions to the team.
We are delighted to announce this year's winners:
Most Committed Player of the Year: Isabelle O'Shea
Isabelleโs work ethic, regular attendance at training, and unwavering positive attitude set a fantastic standard for the entire squad this season. Most Improved Player of the Year: Eibhlin Lynch
Eibhlinโs development over the course of the season has been remarkable, showing massive strides forward in her technical skills and match awareness.
Player of the Year: Keelin O'Shea
Keelin delivered consistently high-level performances on the pitch, leading by example and proving to be a vital asset to the team throughout the campaign.
The club would like to express a sincere thank you to the management team for their tireless dedication to coaching this group, and to the parents and supporters who travelled near and far to cheer the girls on.
Congratulations to Isabelle, Eibhlin, and Keelin, and to the entire U18.5 panel on a wonderful season. We look forward to seeing many of these players continue to excel as they transition into adult rugby!
