This year's Senior and Intermediate football championships carry a health warning for clubs in Section A as the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th and 9th ranked teams qualify for the knock-out stages of the championship. In previous years the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 7th and 8th ranked teams qualified.
