Drainage Project Cappa Lodge
Our recent fundraisers as you will be aware have been for the drainage project at our Cappa Lodge field. We are pleased to report that the Phase 1 works have begun on this project last week with local contractor and Junior C Coach/Selector Brendan O'Callaghan undertaking the work. Phase 1 will involve the laying of a mian drain along the whole length of the field on the road side with associated piping, access chambers, backfill drainage stone and connections to the existing storm drainage system. It is hoped that these works will be completed in the next few weeks. Phase 2 is anticipated to commence later in the year when a suitable window is available. The works site has been fenced off for the whole length of the field to facilitate the works.
