Last Sunday our U11 boys made the trip up to Athenry.
Conditions were difficult to say the least! Driving rain, strong wind and a very wet pitch all on offer!
Our boys weren't deterred however and got to work and competed very well over almost an hour of hurling. We played in two matches against a very strong and capable Athenry Team. Our attitude and work rate right to the very last puck of the ball was most encouraging to see. Many thanks to Athenry for the invite and for the hospitality provided afterwards.
On our return journey we made a quick stop in the Banner Plaza where the boys enjoyed some more food...and laughs.
Home just in time for the Munster Final. Phew! Quality not as good in that game compared to what we witnessed a few hours earlier from our boys 😁
