Our Senior hurlers travelled to Galway last weekend to play Liam Mellows - The game between the 2 clubs was to mark the memory of Niall McInerney who had lined out with both clubs in his hurling career.
Niall played his hurling with the Bridge and Clare in his youth before moving to Galway where he won an All Ireland Senior Medal and two All Stars in 1975 and 1980.

The sun shone in Ballyloughane as both sides came together to remember Niall - Water breaks were needed to keep things cool on a scorching day but hurling was the real winner at the end of the 60 minutes.

Thanks to Mellows for their hospitality and we look forward to having them down to the Bridge in 2027.
