U13 HURLING LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
What a day in Portlaoise last Saturday! Our U13s put in a brilliant performance against Clough Ballacolla in what turned out to be one of the most dramatic finishes you’ll ever see.
Leading by 4 at the break and 7 clear with 10 minutes to go, it looked comfortable — but Clough Ballacolla showed serious heart to turn it around and edge 2 ahead going into injury time.
Then came the moment. A last-gasp goal to snatch victory by the minimum and send the squad, management and supporters into absolute scenes! 🎉
To go the entire league campaign unbeaten and seal it in such dramatic fashion is a massive achievement. These lads have been outstanding all season and today showed exactly the character that’s been driving them all year.
