Clare and Limerick meet again – this time on the biggest of stages, and the Banner will arrive at Croke Park with what looks a full bill of health after some Quarter Final concerns.

Brian Lohan and his backroom team have this morning named a side strengthened by the return of several key figures.

Kilmaley’s Conor Cleary will anchor the square and is fit to resume at full back after his early withdrawal vs. Dublin last time out. David McInerney, who limped off in the closing minutes of the quarter‑final, slots straight back into centre half back. The Tulla man is again flanked by Diarmuid Ryan and Niall O’Farrell.

There’s further encouragement for Clare supporters with the welcome sight of David Reidy among the substitutes.

Up front for the Banner, Mark Rodgers will lead the line from centre forward, while Peter Duggan’s presence on the edge of the square gives Clare an inside focal point. Shane Meehan and Shane O’Donnell start alongside him in each corner.
The match‑day panel also sees Clonlara defender Dylan McMahon drafted into the twenty‑six and Wolfe Tone na Sionna’s Aron Shanagher returning to the fold.

Its knock out hurling in Croke Park with a crowd of over 60,000 expected to see the two rivals lock horns and reveal who faces either Galway or Cork in this year’s final. Limerick with four from five in their Munster Campaign including a provincial title where they edged Cork are favourites for the tie. Clare however are dangerous opponents when they hit top gear - only yet seen in flashes this season. Sunday will be when it counts most.

Make sure to be seen above the green and wear your saffron for both Banner teams.  Our Camogie side face Tipperary in their All Ireland Quarter commencing at 1:30pm. Throw in for the Senior showdown is at 4:00pm.

Best of luck to all and ‘Hon the Banner !
