Simonstown Gaels is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kathleen O’Hare.
Kathleen and the O’Hare family have a long and valued association with our club. Her son Paul and daughter Edel played football with Simonstown, her grandson Lee continues to represent our adult teams, and her son‑in‑law James manages our Premier team. The O’Hare family’s commitment to the club has spanned generations, and Kathleen’s presence and support have always been felt within our community.
Kathleen will be sadly missed by her children Martina, Olive, Philomena, Ingrid, Paul and Edel, her grandchildren Shane, Jason, Shannon, Michael, Amy, Emma, Alex, Lee and Molly, her great‑grandchildren Harvey and Theodore, her sister Margaret (Peg), her sons‑in‑law Paul, Dave, Michael and James, her daughters‑in‑law Ann and Elaine, her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
