Our U13 boys finished their season today in Cusack Park in what was literally a nail-biting performance between two very worthy sides.

Clarecastle held the lead throughout the first half, racing into a 5 to 1 point lead by the 12th minute. The lads continued to work hard and went into the break with a 3 point advantage.

The second half was a complete heart-stopper. Point for point, score for score, the teams were level four times, with just one point ultimately separating them at the final whistle.

A special mention has to go to Darragh Moran, Clarecastle’s no. 1, who was outstanding between the sticks today, making some fantastic saves for the black and white. 🏁
Every Magpie put blood, sweat and tears into today. They left absolutely everything out on that pitch, and they should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
The Banner were worthy opponents and gracious winners. We commend them on their performance and congratulate them on their win. 🙌🙌

Winning both Stephen O’Keeffe titles, reaching the Lisdowney semi-final and competing in two county finals, that’s something to be incredibly proud of. 👏👏
