The club is sad to announce the death of Pat Delaney, a huge figure in the promotion of the game of hurling in the South Kerry area and particularly with St Pats East Kerry Hurling Club over the course of several decades. We offer our deepest sympathy to the Delaney family and assure them thet everyone in our club will miss Pat dearly. His bravery in the way he confronted his illness was an inspiration to us all. Formal notice of death and funeral arrangements below.

The death has occurred of Pat DELANEY
16 Countess Grove, Killarney, Kerry / Woodsgift, Kilkenny and formerly of Lower Tubrid, Woodsgift, Kilkenny.

Peacefully at his home in the presence of his loving family, Pat, beloved husband of Bridget and much loved father of Philip, Michael, Pat, Mary Teresa and Edward. Very sadly missed and dearly loved by his grandchildren, Dylan, Clodagh, Brooke, Holly, Leah, Abbie and Ryan, daughters-in-law Rachel and Jessica, brothers Eddie and Michael, sisters Mary and Carmel, mother-in-law Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and many great friends.

Reposing at his family home, 16 Countess Grove, Killarney on Sunday evening from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Funeral arriving at St Mary's Cathedral on Monday morning at 10.00am for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery, Killarney. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Palliative Care and/or Clare's Wish Foundation.
