We hope all our young members got back to school this week ok and there were no lunches left in bags over the summer for poor unsuspecting parents ! We are so proud of all our Junior Infants who had their 1st day !
For all those starting 1st year in secondary school - we know that its a big change as you all head on to different schools but remember that your club is your home , your team is your family and we will always be here🖤❤️💛. Same to all our leaving certificates as you head on in all different exciting directions!

The idea is simple — one social event in the clubhouse each month. It could be anything from quiz nights and bingo to family evenings, live music, race nights, themed nights or something completely different!
It’s not about taking on a huge commitment. We’re looking for a group of people who can share ideas, help organise and, most importantly, help create more opportunities for our members, families and wider community to come together, have a bit of fun and enjoy the clubhouse.
If you’d be interested in joining the committee, or even just helping out with the odd event, send us a message and get involved.

🏐🥎 On the pitch
Busy week as always on the pitch. Last Friday our U16 hurlers welcomed Emerald Gaels to Ardclough, who proved too strong on the night winning 3-16 to 1-11.
A tough night followed for our footballers v Ballymore Eustace in Manguard in round 2 of the Junior Championship.
Our U12 hurlers travelled to Sallins in the C Championship and came away with the win. Sunday was a Camogie-Fest with our U12 team travelling to St Brigids Castleknock for a Blitz - playing Ballincollig, Athenry, Rathoath and the hosts St Brigids.
Then in the afternoon, we had the start of the Cul Sliotars Camogie Championship with our Intermediate team away to Rathcoffey and our Junior team at home to Cappagh who proved too strong on the day
All go again for our U12 hurlers who had two great wins in the their championship - A v Sarsfields and C v Emerald Gaels on Monday - well done to the team.
And hard luck to our U14 Camogie and Hurling teams - our Camogs played Éire Óg away in division 1 and our hurlers travelled to Ros Glas and Naas. We go again !
Thursday brough the rain! Welcome for some but not for those standing pitch side ! There was a mixed night for our 2 U16 Edwards teams as we came away with a win in Sallins in the G Championship and a loss against Kill in the C Championship. Absolutely torrential rain didn't stop the efforts of the players.
And down in Manguard , Naas proved too strong on the night on a scoreline of 2-28 to 0-12 in the first round of the Senior Hurling Championship.

Our U12 footballers are up this week as they head to Maynooth and host Maynooth in their respective championships tonight. Big night Monday as our hurlers play in the Reserve Championship semi final v Éire Óg and our U12 hurlers are also in Donore for their A Championship game.
Then its all football as our Edwards Minors face Raheens and on Thursday out footballers play their last Junior Championship fixture v Kill.
And we'll have our Go Games this weekend !
