The August Banner Bonanza Draw for Clare GAA took place place last night in the magnificent surroundings of the Michael Cusack Heritage Centre in Carron, with three lucky winners selected on the spinning wheel. The monthly draw is in place to raise funds for Capital Projects in Clare GAA including the ongoing Astro Turf pitch at Caherlohan.
The top prize of €5,000 cash went to our club man Fiachra Ó Braoin. Fiachra has come up the club ranks at underage and now lines out for our Senior hurlers, his school hurling careen saw him win a Dean Ryan Cup and also named hurler of the year in 2024 at St Flannans and he now plays Fitzgibbon with NUI Galway. He represented Clare at Minor and U20 and was corner back on the Clare team who lost the Munster final in 2025.
