Our lotto jackpot is now €8,400. Tickets can be bought from committee members or in a number of outlets in Nenagh where the Lotto jackpot is displayed. Lotto tickets can also be bought and renewed through the online app.
Sympathy
Silvermines GAA Club would like to extend sincere sympathies to the Ryan family, Capparoe following the sad passing of former club hurler, selector and sponsor of Silvermines GAA, Eoin Ryan.
Eoin was a member of the minor North championship winning side in 1988 and captained the club’s victorious north U-21 B team in 1992. He also won North intermediate hurling championships with the club in 1994 and 1997 and later served as a selector with our U-21 county championship winning side in 2006.
Eoin was a sharp-shooting forward with a keen eye for goal and an outstanding freetaker for his club. His wit and humour in the dressing room will always be fondly remembered and he will be sadly missed by all in Silvermines GAA.
Deepest sympathy is extended to his sons Eoin and Conor all the Ryan family and testament to his popularity were the large crowds who attended his removal on Sunday afternoon and Funeral Mass in Silvermines Church on Monday.
Silvermines GAA Club would also like to extend sincere sympathies to the Hogan family from Newtown and the Corcoran family from Dolla following the sad passing of Orla’s mother, Marie Hogan.
U12 Hurling Shield
Our U-12 hurlers take on Toomevara in Dolla at 6.15 pm on Tuesday 22nd September.
North Junior C Hurling Final
The very best of luck to our Junior C hurlers and management in next Sunday's North final against Ballina in Portroe at 3pm.
LGFA
Our U-16 side will face Borrisokane Gaels in Dolla on Sunday 27th at 6pm in the county semi-final. Best of luck to all involved.
