As most of you are now aware on the 3rd of November our own Bishop Quinlan Park will play host to a benefit match between the legends from the great hurling strongholds of Tipperary and Kilkenny in aid of our own Amanda Stapleton who is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumor. The match itself has attracted huge national interest thanks to a fantastic advertising campaign orchestrated by an extraordinary orgainsing committee comprised of Tom Kenneally, Martin Ryan, Gerry Treacy, Michael Lowry, Diarmuid Kinnane, Brendan Maher , David O'Connor, Evelyn McGrath, Paddy Stapleton, Shane Stapleton and Mary Bradshaw.

With such a fantastic evenings entertainment in store including a Marquee on site with a fully licensed bar, a short panel discussion with some famous GAA faces (to be announced soon) followed by live music till late (that's without evening mentioned the game itself ) there promises to be a huge crowd turning up in support of Amanda on the day.

With that in mind we are asking all our members, followers or anyone who would like to get involved and give a hand to the wonderful organising committee in making this event a great success to volunteer on the day if feasible. We are looking for as many volunteers as possible to give us a hand with stewarding and parking on the day. If you're available and would like to get involved be sure to contact Gerry Treacy on (086-3958405).
Further details will be provided once you have declared your interest.
