Congratulations to our own Banner club man Shane Meehan who has been appointed as Captain of the Clare minor (u17) football team for 2019. A huge honour for Shane, his family and the Banner Club. Well done Shane, we are all very proud of you and we wish you and the Clare team and management every success for 2019. In addition to Shane, other Banner club members of the minor panel for 2019 are Eoin Walsh and Thomas Meneghan. Well done to the lads on making it this far with the squad.
The Banner also has player involved at present in the Minor Hurling squad but the final panel for 2019 is not yet finalised. More news on the hurling later when the squad is finalised. Well done again to all the boys on making it to this stage with the 2 squads. The club are delighted and proud of ye.
