The new floodlights in our Limerick Road pitch will be switched on again this evening as we welcome Keith Ricken's Cork U20 footballers as they play Waterford's Senior team in a challenge game.
With the new Cork management team just having been finalised last night with Michéal Ó Cróinín's (Naomh Abán) addition to the already ratified Maurice Moore (Carbery Rangers) along with Avondhu's own Pat Spratt (Buttevant) & Colm O'Neill ( Ballyclough).
There's an extra interest in this Cork team as ' town's Cathail O'Mahony & Lorcan Finn are on this year's panel.
Give a call out to the pitch tonight if you can to offer your support. Throw in time is 8pm.
