Clonard GAA very gratefully received their donation this week from the Intel Foundation which arises from their Matching Grant program for non-profit organisations.

Club chairman Joe Gannon was presented with a cheque of $5,320 (€4,613) from Intel employees and Clonard coaches Cathal Scott and Ger Sheridan. Also pictured is juvenile chairman David Campbell and ladies chairman Frank Hevey, along with boys from our Under 10 and Under 12 teams.

This program encourages Intel employees to engage and volunteer in their local communities and for every hour that they volunteer a donation or “match” of $10 is paid from the Intel Foundation to the non-profit organisation.

The club would like to thank Intel for this very important donation to the club which will greatly assist in both the running of our club and our ongoing development plans.

We would also like to thank our two coaches Cathal and Ger for their time spent assisting the club. Indeed it is an opportunity to thank all our coaches, committee members, and volunteers who give their time to make this great club what it is today. Cluain Ioraird abú.
