Limerick 0-16 Clare 0-13

Congratulations to the minor hurlers who overcame a previously unbeaten Clare side in a tight and ofttimes nervy encounter. Having drawn with Cork and Waterford in their opening games, Limerick needed to gain maximum points from this one and they duly did so in a game which they generally led throughout. Well done to the two Ahane lads Adam Murrihy and Cian Casey who hurled superbly for the 65 minutes, playing at wing-back and midfield respectively.

Adam indeed popped forward with two great points from distance in either half, while Cian hurled an amount of ball in the middle third of the field.

Next up is Tipperary also in Thurles at 12pm in their final group game, where a win will ensure their passage to the Munster Final.
