North Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship:
Best of luck to our Junior’s as they play the final round of the 2019 Junior ‘A’ Hurling Championship this weekend when they take on Burgess in Round 6. This game will take on Friday the 2nd of August in Templederry at 7.30pm. A victory is required in order to make it through to the knockout stage of the competition. Best of luck to both players and management, all support great appreciated
North Minor ‘B’ Hurling Championship:
Well done our Minor hurlers who had a great victory last week in Round 2 of the North Minor ‘B’ Hurling Championship beating Lorrha Rovers Gaels on a scoreline of 1-24 to 0-11.
Tipperary GAA:
Congratulations to Brendan Maher and Dan McCormack and the rest of the Tipperary Hurling Panel on their heroics last weekend as they booked their place in the 2019 All Ireland Senior Hurling Final as they overcame Wexford against all the odds on a score line off 1-28 to 3-20 in Croke Park last Sunday afternoon.
Congratulations also to Kevin Maher, JD Devaney and Ray McCormack who were involved in the Tipperary U20’s fantastic last gasp 3-15 to 2--17 victory over Cork in Semple Stadium last Tuesday week.
They now face Wexford in the All Ireland Semi Final which takes place this Sunday in Nowlan Park at 1.45pm. Best to luck to all involved, fingers crossed we’ll have two All Ireland Finals to look forward to in the next few weeks.
