Ballymackey U18 Girls travelled to Newport for their League opener and came away with a good win. Matches between these sides are always entertaining and full of goals and this game followed suit. The girls came from behind twice to win 5-3 Niamh Cunneen and Laura Bergin with a brace each and Maria Moroney were our goal scorers. The Girls played terrific exciting football throughout with Miriam Murphy, Ellen Cunneen and Anna Grace really on top of their games The match marked an impressive debut for the club by Kate Kavanagh and a debut for this team by Katie Ryan. The already mentioned girls were ably supported by Niamh O Brien Àine Tuohy, Aoibheann Slattery, Aoibhìn Delaney and Chloe McAuliffe,
