Our annual Tomas Max Camogie Blitz took place last Friday evening the 13th of September in The Park.
We had a total of five clubs taking by on the night, with four taking part in both the Tomas Max Cup and another four in the Tomas Max Shield, so we had plenty of fun and games for all participants.
Ourselves, Kilruane McDonagh, Toomevara and Moycarkey Borris all battled it out in the Tomas Max Cup. After a highly entertaining night of Camogie it all came down to ourselves and Kilruane McDonaghs in Cup Final with our girls prevailing as the victors.
At the same time we had Ourselves, Kilruane McDonagh, Toomevara and Drom & Inch went toe to toe in Tomas Max Shield. It was another highly entertaining competition with each team giving a great account of themselves. Once again our girls were victorious beating Toomevara in a well contested final.
A Fantastic evening of Camogie for all involved. We were delighted to have Aoife Max on hand to present both trophies to each of our winning teams.
The club would like to give a huge thanks to all those who helped out on the evening making the Blitz such an overwhelming success again this year. We would like to thanks each of the traveling clubs, referees, Gerry, Aoife, Mike and Rachel for all their efforts.
Finally we would also like to thank all the Parents who provided sandwiches, cakes and buns for all the girls throughout the night. We look forward to seeing ye all again in 2020!
