Well done to our Bord na nOg players who represented their schools and Ahane GAA Club on the East football team in the Inter-divisional Limerick Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic football Sarsfield Cup yesterday. The East team went in a point up at half time against the City side at Mick Neville Park in Rathkeale but it was the City team who went on to take the win after a spirited second half display. The Ahane players gave their all on the day - well done to East team captain Jack C, Dara McL, John O’C, Sean R, Ronan B, Conor R and Anton D - thank you to Mr. Feeney, Mr. Raftery and all the East mentors for your time and effort with the squad. All the very best to the City team in the Divisional Final.
