Today was a huge day for the Club as work commenced on the Construction of our Community Centre Building in Ballinree. This €220,000 Building is phase 1 of a 3 phase Building project that will see an additional €500,000 invested in our facility in the next few years. The Community Centre which we feel is the key missing part of our facilities jigsaw will be of huge benefit to the club and the wider Communities we draw our players from. The Centre will contain a large General Purpose room at ground level glazed on 2 sides to offer a view out on our pitches, it also will have a Kitchen, Office, a large meeting room and toilets including disabled facilities. This building will be a huge benefit to enhance the off pitch experience of the huge numbers of players, Coaches, parents and spectators associated with our 30+ Juvenile and adult teams and their opponents that come in our gates every week. The facilities will also be available to the wider community to use for a variety of purposes.

We are delighted to be able to announce that we have secured North Tipperary Development Company/Leader funding of €150,000 towards this project and we would like to thank our TD's and Councillors who worked with us through the Grant application process. Massive thanks is due to our Development Committee who have already spearheaded the €500,000 investment in our playing facilities and are now progressing this project. They have put in an incalculable amount of time into fundraising, Grant applications, Planning applications etc etc.

This is a fantastic end to another great year for the club and a mad month of tear away in Ballinree with the €55,000 new car park near completion.
