Congratulations to our U-14 A footballers who qualified for the Peil A Mid Final on Saturday last in Thurles by winning all three games in the new blitz format. They defeated Holycross in their opening game , followed up with victory over Moycarkey and rounded off a successful day with defeat over Durlas Og. Moycarkey ( as runners-up) now provide the opposition in the final which takes place in Pairc na nOg on Saturday at 2pm. We also contest the C final at noon where we face Durlas Og. Worthy of mention also was the impeccable conduct of both players and management over the course of the three games. It was a pleasure to see everyone enjoying themselves and playing the game in the true spirit. There wasn’t a bad word spoken on or off the field and this is the standard we aim to promote within our club. Well done to all and best of luck on Saturday. Brackens Abu.
