Running voluntary sporting organisations is challenging at the best of times. In current times the challenges mount up. At Lough Derg FC we are determined to maintain sporting and social normality for all, while prioritising health and safety. Maintaining day to day sporting opportunities and investing in our future and in the youth of our area are our reasons for being.
Our ability to fund raise has been severely impacted. Tribe Trials is yet another victim of 2020. Pub Quizzes, Bag Packs and other fundraisers are no longer feasible. Its even difficult to meet with our members and our community, so difficult have things become this year.
While we appreciate this time of year comes with expenses – Back to school, membership renewal and who knows what else, we are also appealing to our members, our sponsors, our supporters and friends to subscribe to our weekly lottery.
Subscribing is simple – online https://www.ourgrassroots.ie/club/loughdergfc. You can play from as little as €2.50 per week, with options to play at €5 for 3 lines and €10 for 7. Simply select 4 numbers from 24. You might win the jackpot, you might win the weekly spot prize. The club might win a club prize or some of the squads / players might win a sporting prize. The only sure thing by you supporting our lotto is sport and young people in our community, now and into the future, will be the guaranteed winner.
