Its all systems go at Lough Derg FC with all squads now back in action. The Juniors have been flying full tilt for a couple of months now. The adult ladies are up and running too. Youths commence league action this weekend and the competitive age group juveniles have been in Cup action over the last couple of weeks. The remaining squads at Academy Age Group will return to training from Monday 14th, with Saturday Academy recommencing on 19th.
With facilities being a constant pinch point for a growing club, we've laid out the schedule to ensure squads get the space and facilities most appropriate to their needs. Some squads will train of the recently resurfaced sand pitch. Others will train on 3G. Details of Saturday Academy location will be shortly confirmed.
Health and Safety is our primary concern. All squads need to fully adhere to the protocol, available on our website.
With the new season comes the need to renew membership. This can be done through the website and can be paid in full our spread over up to 6 installments. Our membership is the lifeblood of the club. Please ensure you are registered and paid as soon as possible. Any queries, talk to your coach or committee.
With covid eliminating our fundraising opportunities, such as Tribe Trials, Bag Packs, Table Quizzes, Race Nights and a host of other activities we used to undertake, we have rolled our fundraising effort into our Club Lotto. Fundraising is essential to allow us fund the club day to day while also raising funds to plan for our future.
