MGL U11 Liffeybank 8 (Skye B. x4, Lauren x2, Zoey x2) Donnacarney Celtic 1.

Our youngest team (for the moment) started their life in the Metropolitan Girls League with a good performance against a very dedicated Celtic team only starting out this year. Liffeybank had three different scorers and it fell to Skye B to score the club's first hat-trick of the season.

EWFL Liffeybank 1 (Fainche Grimes), Black Forge 4.

The Women's team took on the league leaders in the Eastern Women's Football League Second Division and went very close to causing an upset. The home side created the majority of changes but some last ditch tackling and good goalkeeping by the Drimnagh side kept the visitors top of the table. Fainche Grimes got her first competitive goal for the club when she raced through after a lovely pass by Sarah Scully. Grimes and Amy Tully were thorns in the Black Forge side all afternoon.
