Phase 2 of our club development plan is ready to launch. This is the upgrade of our current 2 grass pitches to increase their all year round playability and maximize the space we have on site
the key components are
- Recover ground at the west end of our grounds and clean the drainage ditch
- Realign the current main pitch with drainage improved
- Convert the current 2nd pitch adjacent to the clubhouse to a sand based pitch complete with flood lights with increased dimensions of 135 x 85m. This will also be fenced and have enhanced spectator facilities and will then become our main pitch.
The 2020 Christmas Draw is designed to give us the financial kick start we need for this project. We ask all members to get behind the draw and sell as many tickets as possible.
The club has shown an ambition and ability to deliver big projects and ensure we have the very best playing facilities. We have a great professional team in house to ensure the best design and quality of work.
Its an exciting time for St Maurs so lets all work together to get our project moving.
