Ballyduff GAA Club AGM was held on Friday Night 20th January with what could be described as a healthy attendance present.
Pad Flynn presented another extraordinarily detailed financial report to the meeting, it’s hard to imagine an AGM whereby Pad doesn’t finish his report with a big “BUT” where he lists the affiliation and insurance expenses to come early in the New Year to keep all us members grounded in case we plan on spending a few quid. Secretary Olive Feeney gave a comprehensive report on the past years activities. Club chairman Seamie Daly and Juvenile Club Chairman Brendan Bolger also addressed the meeting. Chairman Seamie Daly stepped down from his position after 5 years. The club wishes to thank Seamie for the huge volume of work he put in as chairman of the club. Seamie was complimented by the attendees on the night for how fairly he managed every issue which arose over the past few years. As for the election of officers Seamus Condon and John Barry were elected chairman and vice-chairman respectively there were no other changes to the clubs executive.
